Sharon Gloyer is a Joplin native who graduated from Carl Junction High School and Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield. In 1994, she obtained her law degree from Washburn University School of Law in Topeka, Kansas, where she served as a student editor for the Family Law Quarterly and graduated with honors.
Sharon clerked with the firm then known as Blanchard, Van Fleet, Martin, Robertson & Dermott while she was in law school. Upon graduation, she worked as a Senior Staff Attorney for Judge Thomas B. Wine and Judge Steve Mershon in Louisville, Kentucky. While in Kentucky, she was also appointed to act as a District Court Trial Commissioner and was the editor for the Kentucky Attorneys Memo. Upon her return to Missouri, she became a legal contributor to the Employers State Law Alert, a legal publication for multi-state employers.
Sharon joined the firm in 2012 with a broad range of experience in civil ligitiation, administrative agencies, and business and estate planning. She is licensed to practice law in Missouri, Kansas and Kentucky, as well as the Western District of Missouri.
